FAQs

Is a Visa Required?

If the exhibition is in a country that requires a visa, you may need one. For example, if the exhibition is taking place in New York, a US visa may be required.

The artist is responsible for applying for a visa and all other legal procedures.

Nxera Art Gallery does not guarantee a visa; however, it can provide an official invitation letter to artists who request it..

How Should I Ship My Artwork?

You may ship your artwork as a rolled canvas or stretched/framed.

To reduce cost and minimize risk, sending it as a rolled canvas is recommended for international shipping..

Photography art has to be framed with glass (or equivalent material) for protection of the original art.

Do You Offer Canvas Stretching Services in NYC?

Yes. For artworks shipped as rolled canvas, we offer professional canvas stretching services in NYC for a small additional fee.
This service is not included for Photography arts.

Who Covers the Shipping Costs?

All shipments, all outbound and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the artist.

Nxera does not act as a shipping or customs agent, though we can offer guidance.

How Does Customs Processing Work?

Artists must follow the export/customs rules of their home country.

Any delays at U.S. customs are beyond Nxera’s control.

Declaring the artwork as “for exhibition purposes” is recommended.

For Red & White Exhibition: Is It Mandatory to Use Red & White?

No. The theme is conceptual; using these colors is optional.

Do Artists Need to Attend in Person?

No. Artists are not required to travel to New York.

Installation is managed by the Nxera team.

Do You Provide a Participation Certificate?
