Surface - Current Selected (Selection is ongoing. New artists are being added.)
NxEra Art Gallery is honored to introduce Esma Kudar, a visionary polymath whose work acts as a living bridge between ancient heritage and contemporary expression. A graduate of Dokuz Eylül University, Kudar has spent over two decades researching "Symbol Culture," transforming her findings into a sophisticated visual language that blends mythology, numerology, and history.
For the Surface Exhibition, Kudar presents a profound exploration of the canvas as a sacred space. Her practice is an interdisciplinary alchemy; she weaves her background as an award-winning poet and art therapist into textures that transcend mere paint. Each work is a deliberate orchestration of symbols that challenge the viewer to look beneath the immediate surface to find the universal codes of human culture.
Kudar’s influence extends far beyond the studio. As a curator, international coordinator, and recipient of the Grand Gold Award from the International Dede Korkut National Foundation, she has dedicated her career to the preservation of cultural heritage. Having showcased her work across Italy, France, and Monaco, she now brings her "Symbol Culture Series" to Manhattan.
In Kudar’s world, the surface is a manuscript—a place where the rhythmic precision of mathematics and the soul of ancient myth converge to create a timeless dialogue.
