Nxera Art Gallery is proud to introduce Christina Milioti-Gagga (known creatively as Xtina) for our exclusive Surface 2 Exhibition.
Based in Athens, Greece, Xtina is a 24-year-old multidisciplinary contemporary artist, psychologist, and sex therapist. Her provocative practice seamlessly blends ceramic sculpture, paper-mâché, and performance to champion female sexuality, body positivity, and artistic freedom. By fusing her academic background in art and sex therapy with a deep engagement in the burlesque arts, she creates an empowering space for self-acceptance.
Working with raw clay, vibrant mixed media, and literal glitter, Xtina transforms anatomical themes into magical, modern icons that challenge societal taboos. Pieces like her signature sculptures—adorned with disco tiles to command the "main stage" and make the entire room sparkle—ensure that female expression is celebrated and never forgotten. Her highly intimate artwork balances humor and vulnerability, turning tactile objects into vital educational conversations.
We invite you to experience Xtina’s joyful, boundary-pushing creations at the Surface 2 Exhibition, where everyday magic meets the divine feminine to celebrate the power of self-acceptance.
