M. Balbi Dipalma is a performer and video artist. Degree in theatrical disciplines from the University of Bologna; advanced training in contemporary archives, Central State Archive in Rome. He studied and collaborated with M. Pasquali in theatre and film acting, directing, improvisation, and voice. He collaborated for 18 years with R. Mirecka, co-founder and actress of J. Grotowski's Teatr Laboratorium. Rena Mirecka passed on to him the Teatr Laboratorium training, particularly plastic exercises and the creation of ritual performance actions. He had several experiences of traditional rituals and meditation, which led him, in 2021, to start a new research on ritual performance arts.. From 2025 he is represented by CSA Fram Gallery in Turin (Italy) He has exhibited at the Sondrio Art Biennlae, Partissima (Turin), Visione International Art Award (Salerno) “Rome art week” (Rome), 48TH Clifden Art Festival, (Clifden | Ireland), Experimental film and Video 2025– Cica Museum (Gimpo | South Korea)
