Surface - Current Selected (Selection is ongoing. New artists are being added.)
Nxera Art Gallery is proud to introduce Nazlı Goldenberg for our exclusive Surface 2 Exhibition.
Nazlı Goldenberg is a contemporary painter born in Istanbul, Turkey. Initially shaping her eye for composition and design at Yeditepe University’s Department of Interior Architecture, she later pivoted to the culinary arts, graduating as a professional pastry chef from Le Cordon Bleu. Following her move to Toronto, Canada, Goldenberg integrated her multidisciplinary creative background and made a profound return to fine art.
Her deeply introspective artwork functions as an ongoing investigation into identity, belonging, memory, and human psychology. Goldenberg seamlessly fuses figurative elements with architectural forms and abstract spaces. Focused on exploring hidden emotional layers, loneliness, and the fundamental need for connection, her creative process relies on highly textured, layered surfaces and mixed media to render the invisible facets of the human soul visible.
Her paintings offer viewers a quiet, contemplative space to uncover their own narratives within the structural bounds of the canvas. Goldenberg’s visually compelling works have been showcased in prominent art hubs internationally—including exhibitions in New York, London, and Madrid.
We invite you to experience Nazlı Goldenberg's deeply moving and visually striking artworks at the Surface 2 Exhibition.
