Nxera Art Gallery is proud to introduce Saman Jahan Bakhsh (Saman JB) for our exclusive Surface 2 Exhibition.
Saman Jahan Bakhsh is a California based visual artist working in contemporary painting and digital art. He studied art at California State University, Fullerton, and further developed his painting practice at Irvine Valley College.
Deeply rooted in contemporary traditions, Saman JB’s artwork centers around an ongoing exploration of identity, transformation, and human emotion. His distinct creative process involves bridging the relationship between reality and imagination through surreal imagery, symbolic portraiture, and expressive colors. What remains on the canvas is a powerful combination of form and feeling that achieves a unique, evocative depth.
While highly emotional and process-driven, his paintings ultimately command a quiet, meditative presence. Saman JB’s works have been showcased internationally—including a featured presentation at an art exhibition in Venice, Italy, in 2026—and are held in numerous collections worldwide.
We invite you to experience Saman JB's deeply moving and visually striking artworks at the Surface 2 Exhibition.
