Silvia Corti is an Italian visual artist whose practice moves between painting, sculpture, and installation, tracing a dialogue between matter, color, and the silent architecture of absence. With a background in Fine Arts from HDK– Valand Academy in Gothenburg and a Master’s in Art Therapy and Expressive Therapies, her work fuses research, intuition, and the transformative power of surfaces.
Corti’s research focuses on living surfaces: chromatic topographies, fragile geometries, and layered forms where voids are not empty but inhabited, resonant. Her works emerge as thresholds where silence becomes visible, where fractures hold memory, where desire and absence coexist.
In resonance with Silent Voices, her art does not shout but vibrates with what cannot be said. Each surface is both fragile and bold — a map of unspoken narratives, a constellation of colors and voids that carry voices otherwise unheard.
