Valentina Bardavid Hoecker, a Chilean visual artist, is a painter with a Master's in Art Research and Creation from Complutense University of Madrid. Her art focuses on plants and the herbarium concept, primarily through painting and drawing. Over time, her practice has grown to include photography and video, developed at the Centro de Investigación Teatral Teatro La Memoria in Santiago (2007–2009), as well as lithography, which she studied at The Art Students League of New York (2013–2015).

Her work has been displayed in group exhibitions in Chile and other countries. Her teaching career started as a painting assistant at the University of Chile (2004–2006). Since 2012, she has taught drawing and painting independently. In 2023, she became a drawing professor at Universidad San Sebastián and joined the Independent Studies V program. Since January 2024, she has been in New York, studying egg tempera with Douglas Safranek at The Art Students League of New York.
